Student Life in Oslo
There are endless opportunities for students in Oslo. From world-class campuses, beautiful nature, vibrant city life and cultural diversity.
Let’s take a look at what Oslo has to offer:
Best Study Spots:
There are many cozy and student friendly cafes around town where you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee with friends combined with studies. Here are some examples of places to visit:

Cafe Sør:
With its warm and cozy atmosphere, Cafe Sør is a popular place for students in the city center of Oslo. Of course, their regular student discounts on food and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as the free black coffee, are particularly tempting for those on a student budget. There is good access to power outlets and they have fast internet. In the summer, the glass doors are opened and you can sit inside with access to good fresh air and lots of light.

Kulturhuset:
Kulturhuset is located on Youngstorget, and is primarily known for its popular bar, but also functions as a café during the day. The large multi-storey venue is used as a social gathering place for students where they are offered discounts on coffee and food, in addition to good access to power outlets and plenty of space – also for larger study groups.

La Belle Flør:
A slightly smaller and very charming café combined with a flower shop located in Ullevålsveien. The café offers fast internet and student discounts on food and drinks. This place primarily provides a quiet working environment, but there is a high risk of being tempted by the delicious pastries, fresh smoothies and fresh salads!
